Common remote/onsite Data Center Operations

Alert Exceptions and raise Security Incident in case of any suspected security breach |

Coordinating with the Datacenter Support team for Power ON-Power OFF of the Datacenter elements |

Coordinate & manage the Backup Media in terms of labeling and storing them in the designated premises |
 |
Assist in inserting the OS Media / CD / Backup Tapes while in a recovery process |
 |
For new installation of any hardware at DC, ensuring pre-requisites such as identification of proper place in rack, availability of network access & power connectivity |
 |
Application/DB shut down and restart as per SOP |
 |
Batch processing as per the checklists provided |
 |
Update Database of DR servers. |
Scheduled Data Center Maintenance Tasks
 |
Coordinate with the Customer Facilities & Admin team (for Workspace , Facilities, Power etc..) and plan for the Scheduled Downtime. |

Communicate to all the respective support groups and user community on the Maintenance Activity. |
 |
Perform Shutdown and subsequent start-up of the Servers, Databases as stated in the SOP and with the presence of principal Vendors |
 |
Maintaining schedules i.e. timely cut off and handover of application to the users. |
